Captain Matt’s Marine Training and Transport was born out of a passion for boating and a desire to make it accessible and safe for everyone. With over a decade of experience operating a wide range of vessels, we pride ourselves on our holistic approach to boating services.
Since 2017, we’ve taught over 100 new boaters, covering everything from basic boat operation to understanding the ICW and channel markers. Our commitment to safety, enjoyment, and personalized service sets us apart. As a Volunteer Firefighter, I understand the importance of safety and bring that dedication to every training session and transport job.

Background in Industry
Our founder, Captain Matt, grew up on the Gulf Coast and has over 10 years of experience boating from the Gulf of Mexico waters of Orange Beach, Alabama to Port St. Joe, Florida. His passion for boating and his dedication to safety led him to start this business, with the goal of helping anyone become a safe boater or help an experienced boater improve their skills.
